Amy Adams is Lois Lane in the Superman reboot

Amy Adams has signed on to play Lois Lane in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot.

Her casting puts paid to rumours that Lois wouldn’t feature in the new movie, with the feisty Daily Planet journalist clearly a pivotal role in the Superverse.

“There was a big, giant search for Lois,” director Snyder tells Hero Complex. “For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role.

“We did a lot of auditioning but we had this meeting with Amy Adams and after that I just felt she was perfect for it.”
