On Friday The LA Times broke the story that Dredd director Pete Travis was no longer working on the project and that writer/producer Alex Garland had taken on editing duties.
However, an official update from both parties claims that’s not actually what’s happened.

The Los Angeles Times claims that scriptwriter and producer Alex Garland (28 Days Later, Sunshine) has taken over the post-production process and may seek a co-director credit.
