Jon Bon Jovi joins New Year’s Eve Jon Bon Jovi has signed up for Garry Marshall’s romantic comedy, alongside Inglorious Basterds actor Til Schweiger (and everyone else in Hollywood). The project was initially proposed as a sequel to 2010 romcom Valentine’s Day, but that plan was nixed - presumably due to the hostile critical reception that film recieved. Like Valentine’s Day, the film will follow the lives and loves of a diverse group of New Yorkers as they celebrate the titular date. Mr. Bon Jovi has been cast as the rock star who encounters his ex, a caterer (Halle Berry) whilst celebrating at a party. We’re confident he’ll manage to nail the part.
