Joaquin Phoenix could mentor Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter
Joaquin Phoenix took a time out from Hollywood for a couple of years in order to play an off-the-rails version of himself in mock-doc I’m Still Here. Now that that’s all over and done with, the actor’s contemplating how he’s going to bounce back into movieland. And what better way to do it than with the awesome-sounding Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter?
The film’s currently being set up by producer Tim Burton and director Timur Bekmambetov, and Phoenix has been offered the role of Henry, a mythic figure who helps transform the 16th US president into a killer of the undead.

1. A Single Man
“Sumptuous, passionate and utterly heartbreaking, Firth was robbed of a deserved Oscar by Jeff Bridges’ back catalogue of greatness rather than a better performance. Ford directs with the drive and ambition that took him to the top of the fashion world, and the same attention to style, detail and sex. A gorgeous film, that never rushes or leads, never judges or condemns, but immerses you in love, loss, despair and ultimately, hope.”
