Cannes 2011: Insidious distributor Playing The Field
Gerard Butler vehicle Playing The Field has scored a US release with Insidious and Soul Surfer distributor FilmDistrict.
The film, which is currently in production in Louisiana, sees Butler’s broke playboy American Football star trying to reconnect with his ex-wife by coaching his son’s soccer team.
Problem is once he starts, the attentions of the bored, lonely soccer moms from his son’s team are too good a temptation to resist.
