Ben Affleck and Matt Damon reunite for Boston gangster saga
Having previously collaborated on the Oscar-winning script for Good Will Hunting, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are set to team-up again.
The currently untitled film will be based on the story of the recently apprehended Boston mob boss Whitey Bulger who spent the last sixteen years at large, twelve of those on the FBI Ten Most Wanted List.
Matt Damon, who is originally from Greater Boston, has already acted alongside a fictional impression of Bulger.
Cameron Crowe’s We Bought A Zoo gets a trailer
The first official trailer for Cameron Crowe’s We Bought A Zoo has arrived online.
The film, which is based on the memoirs of Benjamin Mee (here transplanted to the US), stars Matt Damon as a grieving husband struggling to decide how best to raise his children following his wife’s death.
Despite the fact that premise sounds rather maudlin, the trailer suggests a tone that’s more hopeful than depressing.

A new one-sheet poster for Steven Soderbergh’s Contagion has been released online.

Here’s our one-word review of each actor’s portrayal on the poster:
Laurence Fishburne - pensive.
Marion Cotillard - sexy.
Matt Damon - shocked.
Jude Law - manikin.
Kate Winslet - answerphone.
Gwyneth Paltrow - infected.
30 Worst Movie Sequels
25. Ocean’s Twelve (2004)
The Sequel: Following a successful casino heist in Part I, Danny Ocean and his band of slick-suited crims are on the look out for a couple of extremely valuable artefacts.
Why It’s Terrible: It collapses under the weight of its own smugness, as anyone who has witnessed the Bruce Willis cameo will testify. The sloppiness of the various jobs this time around make you forget how effortlessly the gang took down the house in Eleven.
What They Should Have Done: Soderbergh, Clooney and co should have turned their attention to remaking and improving another Rat Pack movie: how about Robin And The 7 Hoods?
Rachel Weisz bound for The Bourne Legacy
Just in case you’re wondering, yes, Rachel Weisz is back.
Having kept a relatively low profile since her last big movie outing, The Lovely Bones in 2009, Weisz recently entered talks to play evil witch Theodora in Sam Raimi’s Oz, The Great And Powerful.
Now the Brit actress has begun negotiations to also join The Bourne Legacy. A pseudo-reboot of the Matt Damon-led franchise, Jeremy Renner is already attached as the series’ new lead.
Weisz is currently interested in playing the role of an operative from a covert government program that is similar to the Treadstone brainwashing program that created Bourne.
Oh no! Emily Blunt’s head has become superglued to back of Matt Damon’s! Cruel, cruel world, she had so much promise.
It’s like Stuck On You 2.

The Bourne Legacy: Casting Call
1) James Franco as Bourne
Why He’s Perfect: Ask the Hollywood rumour mill. If you believe the Chinese whispers emerging from the industry, Franco has as good as bagged himself the lead in the new Bourne franchise, although crucially, he won’t be playing Bourne himself. He’ll likely be another victim of Treadstone’s brainwash-heavy training program, possibly a contemporary of the great man himself. So would he be up to the job? Well, his performance in 127 Hours would suggest he’d be up to the task physically, and we already know he’s got charm and warmth in spades. Okay, so he might not have a lot of action credits on his CV, but Matt Damon was hardly Arnie when he joined the series. Franco is the frontrunner by a distance, and to our minds, an excellent choice.
True Grit: Everything We Know
The last time the Coen brothers attempted a remake, we ended up with Tom Hanks twiddling his moustache in the distinctly average Ladykillers update. Let’s hope it’s second time lucky then, with Joel and Ethan having mined another classic from yesteryear in the form of seminal John Wayne western True Grit.
True Grit (2010) Trailer 2 [HD]
Longer, grittier… funnier. This will be epic.
