Mark Millar talks Kick-Ass 2
Mark Millar has been talking about the sequel to Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass and it sounds like there are still a few hurdles to overcome before it can start production.  “The thing about the first movie is that it kind of exploded all our careers. People forget, but this was a $28m indie movie made in the UK. It grossed $100m at theatres and made the same again and more on DVD and Blu-ray and got amazing reviews. So everybody involved suddenly got hired for a million different things, and re-forming the band again would be impossible,” he told the Los Angeles Times.[FOR THE FULL STORY, CLICK ON THE IMAGE OR FOLLOW THIS LINK]

X-Men First Class trailer arrives

The first trailer for Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class has hit the web, and it’s whipped us into a frenzied excitement. Considering the movie is expected to hit cinemas this summer, there hadn’t even been much in the way of images until recently, so it’s exciting to finally get a glimpse of the 60s-set movie.

First Class focuses on the early days of the mutant superheroes, before Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik ‘Magneto’ Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender) became bitter enemies. The trailer reveals some more plot details, including the fact that the film will take place during the events of the Cuban Missile Crisis - during which the US and Russia nearly started World War III - and that the plot will follow best friends Xavier and Lensherr as their relationship deteriorates.
