However, if comic-book guru Frank Miller is to be believed, production will begin to roll early in 2012. “Robert Rodriguez and I are finishing off the script and could be shooting as early as this spring,” Miller told MTV.

Mickey Rourke is out of Expendables 2
Mickey Rourke may have cut his usual fee for The Expendables as a favour to his old pal Sylvester Stallone, but it seems his goodwill isn’t going to extend to the sequel. Rourke has left the project because he wasn’t offered enough money to make it. We’re officially crushed.

The first trailer for 13 has been released online and the thriller based around an underground game of Russian roulette where rich men gamble on the lives of others looks as tense as that sounds.  The rules are simple: each player loads the weapon and spins the cylinder, then places the gun against the head of the man next to them in a cricle and fires on a signal. Jason Statham, Sam Riley, Alexander Skarsgård, Mickey Rourke, Ray Winstone, 50 Cent and Michael ‘I’m in everything at the moment’ Shannon are among the cast. Immortals trailer released

The first trailer for Tarsem Singh’s Immortals has finally gone online after its debut at WonderCon a few weeks ago. A sprawling, sandy epic in the vein of Clash Of The Titans, it follows the bloodthirsty King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) who brings ancient Greece to its knees in his search for a mythic weapon. Standing in his way is stonemason Theseus (Henry Cavill), whose mother is killed by one of Hyperion’s guards, and who finds the mythic weapon – a bow – himself, and uses it in a mission to destroy Hyperion.

Oh, and if you think that magic bow looks familiar, remember Hank the Ranger from ’80s toon Dungeons & Dragons?

The Alleged Crime: Aged 23, a married Sinatra was arrested in 1938 on charges of seduction and adultery. The charges were later dropped when it was discovered that the woman Sinatra was alleged to have had sex with was also married herself.
Mugshot Chic? Now this is what we’re talking about – Sinatra’s suit and shirt combo are class through and through.

Tarsem Singh signs on for Snow White
Dark fairytale revival Brothers Grimm: Snow White has nabbed itself a director in the form of Tarsem Singh. Clearly, studio Relativity are looking for something visually arresting with their production, and with Singh having stirred up some fittingly dark imagery in The Cell and The Fall, we imagine they’ll get it – in spades. The director is coming off the back of Immortals (pictured), a sandy epic starring Mickey Rourke and Henry Cavill that looks set to dwarf this year’s Clash Of The Titans in scale and ambition.
