Pegg and Wright to script The World’s End ‘very soon’
Simon Pegg has said that he hopes to start writing Blood & Ice Cream Trilogy closer The World’s End before Star Trek 2 starts filming.
In an interview with Ain’t It Cool News, he said that he and Edgar Wright are going to start on a first draft “very, very soon”.
The sequel to Star Trek will start filming once a script is finalised and Pegg says he’s working on a film before that, so they hope to start work between then.
Pegg also gave some information on what the film might be like. He said they’re going to do “something very different.”

Edgar Wright directing an episode of Walking Dead?
Shaun Of The Dead director Edgar Wright has revealed he’s been offered the chance to helm more zombie mayhem with an episode of TV comic adap The Walking Dead. The hit AMC show aired its first breakout season last year, and has been adapted from Robert Kirkman’s comic series by showrunner/moviemaker Frank Darabont. While talking at this weekend’s SXSW Film Festival (about Joe Cornish’s Attack The Block), Wright revealed that he’s been offered the reigns of one of Dead’s episodes.
