50 Best Movie Shoot-Outs
5. The Matrix (1999)
The Shoot-Out: Neo (Keanu Reeves) and Trinity (Carrie Ann Moss) storm the lobby of the skyscraper where Morpheus (Lawrence Fishburne) is being held captive.
The Weapons: Guns. Lots of guns. In duffel bags.
Coolest Kill: Trinity disarms a soldier and shoots him in the back with his own gun.
The Woodinator
Insanely cool toy mash-up from this isn’t happiness. Toy Story 4 just started sounding a whole lot more appealing…
Arnold Schwarzenegger puts all future projects on hold
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s planned return to the movies has been interrupted by the scandal that hit the headlines this week.
Though Arnie was looking into making Terminator 5 as well as action film Cry Macho, the breakdown of his marriage and the revelation of his secret love child has led to the former Governator putting all current movie projects on ice.
“Governor Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines,” say Team Schwarzenegger.
“This includes Cry Macho, the Terminator franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when Governor Schwarzenegger decides.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger is back for more Terminator
Arnie wasn’t kidding when he said he’d be back; the Austrian Oak has just signed on to make another Terminator movie. With his tenure as ‘Governator’ of California over, speculation has been rife over which project Arnie would choose to head back to the movies with.
Now, Deadline confirms that the 63-year-old is sticking with what he knows by returning to the franchise that first made him a household name. Having signed on to resurrect his Terminator character, Schwarzenegger is now shopping the project around Tinseltown with director Justin Lin in search of studio backing.
Schwarzenegger offered new Terminator and Predator films
He said he’d be back, and now that Governor Schwarzenegger has hung up his politics hat, he’s seriously considering how he’s going to return to the movies. During an interview given at the Arnold Seminar yesterday (yes, such a wondrous thing exists), the Austrian Oak revealed that he’s currently considering around 15 film offers, which include returns to his most famous franchises.
“Well, first of all it’s more 15 films,” he reveals, “obvious ones from The Terminator to remakes of Predator and The Running Man and all of those things.”
