Michael Bay posts candid Transformers 3 images
Michael Bay’s official website has posted a ton of behind-the-scenes photos online in an album titled “Transformers 3 Photos by Robert Zuckerman.”
“Featured in this gallery are mostly exclusive images that never seen before (sic),” the caption reads…
Transformers 3 Review
“Impress me!” demands horrible boss John Malkovich of Shia LaBeouf when the latter’s Sam Witwicky arrives for a job interview.
Those left cold by the last Transformers may well ask the same of Michael Bay before risking what looks likely to be his final orgy of Hasbro-inspired robo-carnage.
For them, good news. Transformers 3 (full title - Transformers: Dark Of The Moon) might struggle to equal the sheer exhilaration of Bay’s 2007 trilogy-starter, but it’s a whole lot more coherent and fulfilling than Revenge Of The Fallen.
James Cameron and Michael Bay talk about the future of 3D
James Cameron and Michael Bay have spoken out about the future of 3D at a special event in Hollywood.
The pair hosted ‘3D: A Transforming Visual Art’ at the Paramount Theater, where they spoke about the future of multi-dimensional film-making (as well as presenting some clips from Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon).
Here’s what they had to say:
Michael Bay
“I first met James Cameron on the set of Titanic, and he invited me on the set of Avatar. At first I thought 3D was harder than you could imagine, and really not me. Really not me. I’m old school, I like 35mm film where you can touch it, you can feel it. 3D is just all ones and zeros. When I got on set James said he wanted to show me some cool algorithms, and I was like ‘What?’”
“James explained it to me like 3D is just a new toy to play with.”
James Cameron
“All films benefit from 3D to varying degrees, but I thought Michael had to do 3D. The marriage of his very technical filmmaking and 3D was something I wanted to see.”

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon theatrical trailer lands
Transformers: Dark Of The Moon has finally dropped a full length trailer, and by the looks of it, everything has been turned up to 11.
A franchise that has always delivered on action set-pieces and effects, Dark Of The Moon looks set to make the fist two parts look like weighty period dramas.
This time around there is a fully fledged invasion of Earth for Sam, Optimus and co to deal with… but enough of that: look at the explosions!
Leonard Nimoy joins Transformers Dark Of The Moon
As if the signs for Michael Bay’s third Transformers weren’t already pretty good, word comes today that the threequel’s just landed sci-fi icon Leonard Nemoy.
Nimoy has signed up to lend his inimitably grave tones to the character of Sentinel Prime, the predecessor of everybody’s favourite Autobot Optimus Prime.
Sentinel was glimpsed in Transformers 3’s initial teaser trailer as a hunk of wreckage found on the dark side of the moon.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley talks Transformers: Dark of the Moon
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has spoken exclusively to Total Film about appearing in Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
The British supermodel is making her movie debut in Michael Bay’s threequel, but she has worked with the director before on a Victoria’s Secret campaign.
On her character, Carly, Huntington-Whiteley tells us: “She’s English and is working for the British embassy… I can’t tell you more! That’s all I can say for now!”
Huntington-Whiteley was cast as Sam’s (Shia LaBeouf) new girlfriend after Megan Fox left her breakthrough franchise.
“I went to the casting unaware they were looking for a new female lead”, says Rosie.
“We were told it was for a ‘nemesis’ role and I left thinking I was awful. The next day I was offered the lead!”
“I met with Shia that evening and within three weeks I was on set shooting my first scenes…”

Michael Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon gets a poster
The first official promo poster for Transformers 3 (or Transformers: Dark of the Moon, if we absolutely must call it that) has arrived.
JoBlo have the one sheet, and it’s a little bit underwhelming to be honest.
